One can not find this material about Jalandhar any where in the world.
I could fine my village, its area, population, MAP, photoes of great monuments of Nakodar, Nurmahal, Jahangir, Kartarpur, Phillaur, Jalandhar city in this book.
I did not know about atleast 40 great buildings of this district before I bought this book from Amritsar during my visit last month.Hon. Manmohan Singh Ji, May 29, 2004
Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa. Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh.
It is with pride that all Panjabis, especially Sikhs, rejoice
at your appointment as Prime Minister of India, the world’s largest functioning
democracy. We also noted with great satisfaction your statement that communal
riots do happen but the governments have the power to stop them. For the carnage
in Gujrat against the Muslims in 2003 and the holocaust against the Sikhs in
1984, the governments in power during those events must bear the responsibility.
We recognize that the great leaders have to govern and compromise for the
greater good of the country, especially when one party does not have a clear
mandate. However, we feel that the ethical values and the principles should
never be compromised for the sake of consensus.
While we join others in praising your precedent setting
nomination to this high position, we also note your attempt in 1999 during your
election campaign to put the blame of 1984 carnage against the Sikhs on RSS. At
that time it was a Congress Govt. and a Sikh President.
We wish you success in turning India into a prosperous,
peaceful and just society. It is in that spirit that we submit the following
suggestions:
1. Repeal the Prevention of Terrorism Act (POTA) with immediate
effect.
2. Release all Sikh youth incarcerated since 1984.
3. Bring to justice the perpetrators of pogroms against Sikhs
in Nov. 1984.
4. Provide financial compensation to the survivors of those
pogroms and victims of Indian Army attack on
Darbar Sahib.
5. Simultaneous to that render an apology on behalf of the
Congress party.
6. Reconsider the appointment of Jagdish Tytler to your
cabinet.
7. Name people of conscience and strength of character to the
National Commission for Minorities in
India, free from Govt. interference.
8. Our native Panjab has suffered dismemberment, first into two
and then the half that you and I call ‘des’
into further three. To add insult to the injury even those
borders are disputed and Panjab has been
denied its own capital. That problem needs an urgent
solution.
9. For the sake of diaspora Sikhs instruct the Indian diplomats
to stop interfering in our Gurdwara affairs
and stop asking for siropas.
10. Instruct the American and other Embassies to trash the
Indian Ministry of Foreign Affairs list of Sikhs
to be denied visas to their countries.
With Due
Respect,
It is very astonished that Akalis and other Sikhs are joyfully
welcoming the Congress’ supremo Mrs. Sonia Gandhi's decision of making Dr.
Manmohan Singh as the Prime Maninster of India. How easily they forgot President
Zail Singh's deeds. How indian army attacked Golden Tample in spite of his being
the President of India. Actually all those leaders and Sikhs did not learn
anything from past. During the current elections Dr. Manmohan Singh when asked
about the Jagdish Taytler's and other contesting the election as congress party
candidate(involved in 1984 riots against Sikhs), he replied, "They have been
exonerated from court and he will propagate in favor of them if asked to do so".
He did not resign from the post of Governor of RBI even after the 1984 riots. A
true Sikh always want the welfare of all regardless of any religion color or
cast but today every Sikh want his/her own well-being. This is the reason of
Akali's being a regional political party.
How can Dr. Manmohan Singh go against the wishes of actual
Prime Minister of India Mrs. Sonia Gandhi. The day he goes against the wishes of
his "Madam ji" he will be down and out.
Earlier Zail singh called Rajiv Gandhi as Mr. Clean and we
witnessed the biggest scam in the Indian history during his
regime.
There is a Sikh Chief Minister In Punjab and his wife has won
the election and she did not get anything in the ministry of Dr. Manmohan Singh.
There is not even a single person from Punjab included in the cabinet.
We the people of
India need a true human being regardless of any religion and cast, who can
provide us speedy and fair
justice and a corruption free
Government.
May
God give some common sense to Akalis and other Sikhs !!!!!
With Regards
Dilpreet

Kindly publisize my views amongst the younger specially
intelligent children below the age of 12 years. I am not surprized about your
views expressed about my email. Because as yet not a single Sikh scholar has
been able to understand me. kindly contemplate yourself about the meaning of
Akal Takhat and what was its role and necessity when it was constructed by Guru
hargobind ji at the age of 11 years. i am confirmed in my views that guru nanak
came with the light of the lord himself for a special program meant for the
whole world. Guru Nanak Sahib camouflaged His worldly and the purpose for which
he had been ent by Akal Purakh in the massive Gurbani based on Naam. Kindly make
fresh reading of Guru Nanak's Bani ignoring all the lines on Naam and noting
down all the lines, eg. Guran ik Deh Bujahi sabna Jeeian Ka Ik Daata So Mai
Visar Na Jaai! Paatalan Patal......, Guru Nanak's Shabads addressed to Muslims,
Babar bani, etc. Please also read once again read RamKali Di Vaar entitled Rai
Balwand tatha Satta Doom Aakhi, and Savaiyaas of Guru Arjan Dev ji and the
Bhatts(1385-1409). Guru Nanak passed on the Light to all the successor Gurus.
The Gurus were working according to a set plan of Akal Purakh and Sikhe did not
develop as a response to the events during the Guru Period. Whatever happened in
1984 was according to the set plan of Guru Nanak. Please try to understand this.
But for these happennings Sikhs would not have dirpersed to over 100 countries
and built 500 gurdwaras in the western world. It is true that the true purpose
of Guru Nanak would be understood more by the children growing up in the
scientific era who would soon consider that the sikhs of Panjab have not
understood Guru Nanak. The moment the neo Sikhs start learning about Guru Granth
Sahib (Intelligent western children below the age of ten years), they would
understand the Sikhe and propagate it. The American Sikhs unfortunately under
the influence of Yogi Bhanan are mainly those who are not endowed with a
discriminative IQ and have the intelligence of class three and class four
workers. there are a few exceptions like Guru fateh Singh Khalsa, a very
intelligent American Medical Doctor. It is high time that we forget the
attrocities committed against the Sikhs in 1984 and consider it as bhaana of
Akal Purakh. We would be doing a great service to Guru Nanak Sahib if we start
propagating what is written in Guru Granth Sahib and what the ragis are singing
in the Gurudwaras. Most of the seminars of Sikhe with the naam aspect of Gurbani
only. I am confident that the whole picture would change within 20 years. Naam
aspect is important for an individual to rise above his personal ambitions and
the maaya jaal. Unfortunately it is true that inspite of the seminars on Naam
the character of an average Sikh today is no better and probably worse than the
non sikh. You would agree with if you keep a track on the email editions of
daily newspapers published from Chandigarh, Tribunr and Indian Express,
regarding the news on Sikhs. You would form your own opinion on Sikhs of
today.

Ps. 'Bandgi Nama' and similar literature does not represent
Sikhi of Guru Nanak but expresses the Udasi Matt. It has really derailed Sikhi
of Guru Nanak. Sooner we ignore all the writtings based on Suraj Parkash and
Bhai Vir Singh's writtings Sikhi would come on its own. I am confident that even
this, that whatever has happened in the Sikhs scholarship upto the year 2000 was
according to the Bhana of Akal Purakh. The Sikhi of Guru Nanak was meant to be
revealed in 21st century. It was the plan of Guru Nanak that no Sikh state came
into being. Kindly contemplate once again that the splendid Raaj of Maharaja
Ranjit Singh became totally corrupt including the Maharaja himself. I very much
wish that Sirdar Kapur Singh ICS had understood the mission of Guru Nanak and
had not drafted the Anandpur Sahib Resolution, which the Sikhs are finding very
difficult to forget.

Questions to Worthy Sikhs
Charnjit Singh Bal
The philosophers, theologians, scholars, journalists, academia
and intelligentsia are the conscience and voice of a nation, community, society
and religion, etc. Why majority of these worthy members of the Sikh Panth are
mute about: -
- Editors, publishers, promoters and propagators of misleading literature
such as Dasam Granth and Gurbilas that are replete with Eroticism, Avatar-ism,
Ritualism, Wizardry, Mythology, Idolatry, etcetera and stigmatize venerated
Sikh Gurus as marijuana (Bhung) junkies?
- Bhai Joginder Singh Vedanti who along with Dr. Amajit Singh edited
Gurbilas Patshahi 6 and got it published by S. G. P. C. in 1996 AD and
arbitrarily exonerated alleged rapist Sadh Dhanwant Singh of Pallian, Dist.
Nawanshehar?
- Akali Dal that was formed as a defensive wing of Gurdwara reform movement
on 14th Dec. 1920 to combat onslaught of Arya Samaj radicals
including Daya Nand, and Christian missionaries on Sikhism; but has now
evolved into a national political party in India and a provincial ruling party
in Punjab, meddling in Sikh religious affairs?
- Role reversal of Miri and Piri; i.e. contrary to the fundamental concepts
and doctrines of Sikhism Miri (opportunistic Polity) taking precedence over
Piri (Gur-Meryada) that is enshrined in the revered guru Granth Sahib?
- Appointment as Akal Takht Jathedar and Harmandir Sahib Head Granthi of
Bhai Puran Singh who was fined Rs.100 in 1980 for claiming payments for
performing two simultaneous Paths (at two places at the same time) while he
was resident Granthi at Tarn Taaran?
- Cultism, Sectarianism perpetrated by the spurious Sikh gurus, Saints Babas
and Sadhs and those Singh Sahibs and Jathedars who fraternize with these
Anti-Sikhism elements?
- Sikh Terrorists and felons?

Dear
Dr. Kuldip Singh jee, FRCS, (Chandigarh), Waheguru jee ka Khalsa Waheguru
jee kee Fateh
Thanks for your brilliant idea and guidance. Due to my poor
vision, I am of the view that we should go step by step before thinking about an
International Sikh State without boundaries. In the light of current selfish
attitude, we are unable to administer our own Gurduaras, but how to manage the
global state of Begumpura? For the last ten years, you have been suggesting this
noble plan but it is not yet implemented at our Centre: "Darbaar Sahib + Akaal
Takht Sahib". First of all, let it be started from Amritsar and then to cover
Bathinda, Faridkot, Ferozepore, Gurdaspur, Hoshiarpur, Jalandhar, Ludhiana,
Patiala, Phillaur, Ropar, Sangrur, Tarn Taran and if successful then proceed to
Chandigarh, Delhi, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Rajasthan, UP
and thereafter other Indian States depending upon the progress and funds
available through our Dasbandh - voluntary contributions. At the same time
diaspora Sikhs should try to set up such welfare activities in our Gurduaras
abroad. Since most of the Sikh Societies managing Gurduaras, have been enjoying
Charitable status, they must spend 51% contributions for charitable purpose i.e.
25.5% in the respective countries/states and 25.5% should be sent to the
Charitable Organisations in Punjab for example through Sikh Missionary College,
Guru Gobind Singh Study Circle and any other such Nishkaam Organisation. Sikh
Reht Maryada (SGPC) tells us: "The true Sikh of the Guru shall make an honest
living by lawful work, and a Sikh shall regard a poor person's mouth as the
Guru's cash offerings box - Goluk." But the way our caravan is moving now, we
are, in fact, rolling back. Let us first become Guru kay Sikh, unite together as
one Guru Khalsa Panth and then march ahead with the cooperation of all. Naam
japo, Kirat Karo, Vand schako, Sarbatt daa bhalaa and to keep up dignity &
equality.
Gurmit
Singh
zf: kuldIp isMG
Dear gurmit Singh,
The attrocities suffered by the Sikhs in 18th century were many
100 times more than what the Sikhs suffered in 1984. Sikhs had displayed the
most wonderful aspect of Sikhe in the 18th century when nearly 50% of the Sikh
population was decimated most brutlly. The young 17 yeart old Maharaja ranjit
Singh forgot all about this and never brought it in the notice of either hindus
or the Muslims and instead appointed only Hindus and Muslims to his cabinet. All
this happened on account of thw Will of the Akal Purakh who was giving a special
message to the Sikhs. The wonderful empire of Maharaja Ranjit Singh was finished
in 10 years after his death. Akal Purakh gave us a beautiful message that his
light given to Guru nanak was not meant for creating an empire. Akal Purakh was
teaching the Sikhs that all states with boundaries become corrupt. maharaja
Ranjit Singh had 20 Ranis 12 of whom got themselves burnt alive at the time of
his cremation-a most unsikh like act. the Sikhs of Delhi did not look after the
2000 poor Sikh families but went on spending on on their marriages, lakhs of
Rupees in 5 star hotels but lament every November that the culprits have not
been punished and the families compensated properly. The Sikhs of Delhi have
lowered the prestige of the Khalsa. The Light of the Lord Himself called Guru
Nanak had come to this world for a special purpose. As understood by Nanaksdas, the purpose is to create an
International Sikh State without boundaries which is to be run by compulsary
Daswandh of the Sikhs introduced by the fifth Nanak, Guru Arjan Dev ji. This
daswandh is not less than 1000 crores of Rupees per year. But for the 1984 events Sikhs
would have been still fighting for the anandpur Sahib Resolution. It is high
time that we declare that we pardon all those who has committed attrocities on
the Sikhs in 1984. Sikhs are now present in over 100 countries and have built
nearly 500 Guruduaras in the western world after 1984.
Kindly pass on this message to all of your friends and try to
understand the bhana of Akal Purakh. Please firmly believe that all that
is written on pages 966 to 968 and 1385 to 1409 is as true for every Sikh as is
Japuji Sahib. If you read it carefully, you would yourself conclude had given
His Light to Guru Nanak Sahib for a special purpose and that is why Guru Nanak
came in ten different human bodies to complete a revolution by bringing about an
anthropological change in the population of Panjab and creating a new nation
with a new thinking. Khalsa always has to think about the future and for this
reason Guru Nanak in His ten forms did not permit anyone to record the events
connected with the worldly lives during the Guru period of 239 years.
Khalsa will come to its own when we realise that the greatest
obstruction to our advancement according to the Will of Akal Ourakh are aur
history books which need to be discarded. The true history of opur Gurus is
recorded in Sri Guru Granth Sahib and the Vaars of Bhai Gurdas. Some events have
reached us thru word of mouth and others in the record of the Mughal Kingdoms.

Wahe Guru ji ka Khalsa, Waheguru
ji ki Fateh.
1- Somebody asked me a question. Why Guru
Gobind Singh ji never visited Amritsar or Siri Akal Takhat ? Is this true
?
I have no answer for that. Can any body
enlighten me regarding this. Any information provided will be greatly
appreciated.
2- Where can I get some information about
the " Massa Rangharh " episode at the Golden Temple ?
3- I attended bhog ceremony of Siri Akhand
Path at my friend's place. The pathi's refused to read " Rag Mala" portion of
Siri Guru Granth Sahib. I found this rather odd. After questioning this to the
head pathi, I was told that "Rag Mala" was not part of Siri Guru Granth Sahib. I
did not want to get into any argument at the friend's house, so I kept quiet.
Can you give me some information about " Rag
Mala" ? I did not like the whole episode.

Dear Makhan Singh jee,
Waheguru jee ka Khalsa
Waheguru jee kee
Fateh.
I have read the newsitem as per attachment sent by you. I am lost and
don't know what to say? Since First October 1981, I have been an ordinary member
of the Guru Panth and trying to follow the Gurbaani enshrined in the Guru Granth
Sahib and practice the Sikh Reht Maryada - (SGPC).
In response to my email, S. Manjit Singh Calcutta, Secretary,
SGPC, Amritsar (sgpc dated 12 February 2004, Thursday) had conveyed to me as
follows: "In the historical Sikh Shrines under the management of Shiromani
Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee, Sri Amritsar only Sri Guru Granth Sahib is
installed. At Takhat Sri Hazoor Sahib and Takhat Sri Patna Sahib, Dasam Granth
along with Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji is also installed as per traditions.
Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee has no legal rights to force them to not
to do this as that on its jurisdiction is only the historical Sikh Shrines of
Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pardesh and Chandigarh......."
It would thus show that SGPC/The Sikh Gurdwaras Act 1925 does
not apply to Jammu & Kashmir. In that case how can they interfere or
instruct them what to do or how to manage their activities? It is evident that
Sikhs have been behaving like jackals/sheep-herd where one dog can control all !
On the one side they find it difficult to take action against the Mukh Sevadaars
of Takhts - Patna Sahib & Hazoor Sahib because they have no jurisdiction
whereas in J&K they can frighten any GurSikh including in
Chandigarh/Punjab/abroad ! If some one may drag them to court how will they
defend such duality? Except few, most of the intellectuals have become idiots.
When Sikhs could challenge Guru Gobind Singh Sahib while lowering his arrow at
Dadu's grave, why Sikhs can not raise their voice against the Presidents of SGPC
/ Punjabi Hindu Dal or Mukh Sevadaars who are merely employess of SGPC and their
salaries are paid from Guru kee Goluk contributed by the Sangat. Look ! How Dr.
Harjinder Singh Dilgeer, S. Roop Singh, Dr. Gurbakhsh Singh Gill, Dr. Kharak
Singh Mann, Dr. Sangat Singh, Patwant Singh, IAS Saran Singh-The Sikh Review and
others who have written several books are now silent because their skin is safe?
Then who will spread Guru Nanak's Truth against Falsehood ? Please try to
discuss this matter with other Five Dear Ones within your reach so that Sikhs
continue to follow the teachings of Guru Sahibaan without any fear of
victimization. Wish you Chahrdi Kalaa and Sarbatt daa Bhalaa.
Thanks,
Gurmit Singh

I have one suggestion for you. It will be great if you can add voice with the Japji Sahib and other gurbani. Like you can up-load Sukhmani Sahib or Japji Sahib CD or something like that. It will helpful for who have trouble reading Punjabi. Otherwise your website is really good. I am very thankful to you. Keep it up.
Thank you.

Guru Angad Sahib Ji
The Sikh religion was founded by Guru Nanak Sahib. This
religion is based on the principle of One God and Equality of mankind. Guru
Sahib removed the distinction of caste, creed, high, low etc. prevailing at that
time.
Whenever, two Sikhs meet, they greet each other by saying,
"Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ke Fateh". This means that Khalsa belongs to
Waheguru (God), which generates equality among each other and Fateh (Victory)
also belongs to Waheguru. This shows that a Sikh does not have any feeling of
pride even in case of any victory. He always remains humble and tries to lead
his life according to the principles laid down in Guru Granth Sahib.
This year of 2004 has got a special significance as three
anniversaries are falling in this year. 500th Prakash Divas of Guru
Angad Sahib on 18th April, 400th First Prakash Divas of
Guru Granth Sahib on 1st September and 300th Shahid Divas
of four Sahibzada’s on 21st and 25th December.
Guru Angad Sahib was the second Guru of Sikhs. His previous
name was Bhai Lehna. While giving the responsibility of Gurgadi, his name was
changed by Guru Nanak Sahib from Lehna to Angad. He was born in village Mate Ki
Sran (Ferozpur) on 18th April 1504. His father Pheru Mal was a
truthful and kindhearted man. Bhai Lehna was married to the daughter of Devi
Chand Marwaha in 1519, who later on became famous in Sikh history as Bibi
Kheevi.
His father was a follower of Vaishno Devi and used to take
group of followers to Vaishno Devi near Jammu. Later on the same practice was
continued by Bhai Lehna Ji. Though he was famous in his locality and was having
a good business, but still he was not having internal peace of mind. He was
always searching for truth.
Once Bhai Lehna happened to listen Gurbani from Jodh Ji who was
a follower of Guru Nanak Sahib and was staying in Khandoor. This created a
permanent impression on his mind and he decided to meet Guru Nanak. Though Bhai
Lehna had earlier met Guru Nanak Sahib regarding his father’s business but this
time it was a spiritual meeting as he had decided to become his follower.
It was a strange co-incidence that Bhai Lehna happened to see
Guru Nanak on the way and asked him the way where he could meet Guru Nanak
Sahib. Bhai Lehna was riding on the horse and Guru Nanak Sahib was on his foot
to show him the way. On knowing the reality that the person who showed him the
way was none other than Guru Nanak himself. Bhai Lehna was embarrassed but Guru
Nanak Sahib told him humbly that he need not feel embarrassed because according
to his name he is a taker (person who takes) and the taker always comes riding
on a horse. Such sweet words won Bhai Lehna’s heart and he decided to stay
permanently with Guru Nanak.
Bhai Lehna served Guru Nanak for about seven years. He set an
example in Sikh history by obeying each and every order of the Guru. In this way
he attained a state of mind in which he became one with the Guru. He could
achieve this position by his faith in Guru’s preaching, determination, selfless
service and devotion to the Guru.
Guru Nanak tested Bhai Lehna from time to time and finally
decided that Bhai Lehna should succeed him. While giving the Gurgadi his name
was changed from Lehna to Angad (a part of body). Guru Nanak Sahib neither
followed the democracy rule nor the dynasty rule while giving Gurgadi. The
criteria for selection was the capability to follow and spread the basic
principles of Sikh religion, which are Earning ones own livelihood, Remembering
the Akal Purkh and Sharing one’s own earnings.
His wife Mata Kheevi used to prepare Kheer and serve to the
Sangat with great devotion and love. She was the first lady whose services have
been mentioned in Guru Granth Sahib.
Guru Angad Sahib has written 63 Shalokas, which are present in
Guru Granth Sahib. He took special interest for the propagation of Gurmukhi and
used to teach the children. He knew that a strong mind can exist in a healthy
and strong body. So, he took special care for good food, good habits,
cleanliness, daily bath and exercise for his followers. He started the tradition
of wrestling known as Mal Akhara in Khandoor Sahib
On his way to Kabul, King Hamazoo also came to take the
blessings from Guru Angad Sahib after he was defeated by Sher Shah Suri.
Guru Angad Sahib also developed the city of Goindwal Sahib
through his follower Amar Das. The untiring service of Baba Amar Das helped him
to get the blessings of Guru and he was appointed as the third Guru of Sikhs.
This year being the 500th Prakash Divas of Guru
Angad Sahib is celebrated with great enthusiasm all over the world. Special
programs in the form of Nagar Kirtan, Gurmat Vichar, and Kirtan Darbar have been
started well in advance of 18th April all over Mumbai and Navi
Mumbai.
Let us follow the principles laid by Guru Granth Sahib to lead
a happy, successful and harmonious life.
(Dr. Sarbjit Singh)

Pyreo,
Waheguru ji ka khalsa Waheguru ji ki Fateh,
I adressed large number on 04th, 08th, 09th at taran taran,
chica bakna and sabra(patti). every place gathering was above 300 to 500 atleast
inspite of the repeated warning from vedanti ji that he will excummunicate all
who would listen to kala afghana but still at each place people listened me for
3hrs with patience and sarda.and were fully in support of my truth. I was

Dearr Mr. D. S. Gill, Chair IHRO,
Thanks for the information that the great grand daughter of the
last emperor Bahadur Shah Zafar is going to atone for the atrocities committed
by her ancestors on Sikhs and Hindus on the coming Vaisakhi day. People of
conscience always reflect on human values and they don't feel any shame in
admitting their mistakes. But what is has to to do with Mr. Vedanti, huaman
rights are for humans.
The tribune of of April 8, 2004 repored that Sarjit
Singh Kaleke of Khalsa Liberaartion Force worked with Parmjit Singh Pnajwar and
Dr. Sohan singh Boparai.
Did your organization ever uttered a word against
Sohan Singh or Jagjit Singh Chohan?
Did your organization ever utter a word when Kala Afghana and
the editor of Sopesmas were excommunicated by barbarian thugs. What it boils
down to is that among criminals there is no place for honest people. And peole
like you ply their trade of deception to hood wink the innocent and
gullible.
As a chair of the IHRO was not it your moral duty to condemn
the the actions of Vedanti against Kala Afghana and Joginder Singh. Did Vedanti
utter a single word against Boparai and Chohan?
Gurtej please circulate this
letter among your group to warn peole about this phony human rights organisation
of D. S. Gill.

Dear Veer Makhan Singh jee and Guru
Piarey younger Sister jeeo,
Waheguru jee ka Khalsa
Waheguru jee kee Fateh
In the name of Karta Purkh and Guru Khalsa Panth, I admire and
appreciate your courage and stand taken. If children wish to fly with their cut
wings let them do. As soon as they disobey their Guru and Guru-minded parents,
there is no need to have any compromise. Example of Ram Rai is before our eyes.
Both of you have discharged your duty as a good trustees. If such a stand was
taken by the parents and families since 1947, there could not have been any
apostasy!
May Kartaa Purkh bless us with ever Charhdi Kalaa. Long live Guru
Panth.
Gurmit Singh
